  1. Thank you for purchasing SoftKey KidArt software.  So that you may get off to a good start here are some helpful suggestions to help you take full advantage of your software.

  3. Installing Fonts
  4.  
  5.     To install your Macintosh Fonts do the following:
  6.  
  7.         Insert the KidArt CD-ROM into your CD-ROM drive.
  8.         
  9.         Open the Systems folder and then open your Fonts folder on your Macintosh Hard                                              
  10.         Drive.         
  11.  
  12.         Then open the KidArt icon on your desktop by double-clicking on it.
  13.  
  14.         Double-click the KidArt Typefaces11 folder to open it.
  15.  
  16.         In this folder you will find two subfolders, Primary and Secondary.  Within these folders are the Macintosh font files.  
  17.  
  18.         Open the folder of your choice and then drag the font files to your Macintosh Font folder on your Macintosh Hard Drive and your fonts will be installed.

  21. To View The KidArt Catalog

  23.         Insert the KidArt CD-ROM into your Macintosh CD-ROM drive and double-click the KidArt icon once it appears on your desktop.

  25.         Install the Adobe Fetch Browers by double-clicking its icon.
  26.  
  27.         To view the KidArt Catalog, double-click on the KidArt Catalog icon, and click on the Find All button.

  33.         Insert The KidArt CD-ROM into your Macintosh CD-ROM drive and double-click the KidArt icon once it appears on your desktop.

  37.     The Mini User Guide will appear on the screen.
